Bright Bite

Enjoy a bright and bitey cocktail, with honey, dry gin and lemon juice. Garnished with lemon, it’s simply the zest!

Ingredients:

2 tsp honey
50ml dry gin
25ml lemon juice
Ice
Lemon zest strip, to serve

Method:

STEP 1
Put the honey in a small jug or cup and add 1 tsp freshly boiled water. Stir well until smooth and the honey is nicely thinned down.

STEP 2
Pour the honey mixture into a cocktail shaker along with the gin, lemon juice and a large handful of ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels very cold.

STEP 3
Double strain into a cocktail glass or a coupe and garnish with a curled strip of lemon zest – you can do this by wrapping it tightly around a spoon handle.

Kraken Summer

Our tropical, rum-based Kraken Summer cocktail is easy to make and sure to get your party started. Garnish with a slice of fresh orange for an extra citrus zing.

Ingredients:

50ml dark rum
50ml white rum
1 passion fruit
1 orange, juiced
1 lemon, juiced
50ml sugar syrup

Method:

STEP 1
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add the rums. Scoop the flesh and seeds from the passion fruit and add to the shaker along with the orange and lemon juices and sugar syrup.

STEP 2
Shake well until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels icy cold. Fill two glasses with fresh ice then double strain the drink into the prepared glasses.

STEP 3
Garnish each cocktail with a slice of fresh orange and enjoy in the sun.

Crimson Creeper

Don’t let this deliciously sweet and refreshing cocktail trick you into a false sense of safety. As the name suggests, the tequila hit will creep up on you if you’re not careful!

Ingredients:

ice
50ml tequila
15ml Cointreau
1 large blood orange, or 2 small ones, juiced
½ lemon, juiced

Method:

STEP 1
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila, Cointreau and fruit juices. Shake until the outside of the shaker feels cold.

STEP 2
Fill a serving glass with ice cubes then carefully double strain the cocktail into it. Add more ice if needed to fill the glass and enjoy!

Drac’s Golden Ambrosia

This classic bourbon cocktail takes a chilling turn with a splash of orange juice and edible gold glitter – perfect for the fancy, the fun and the freaky festivities you have coming up.

Ingredients:

Honey
Edible gold glitter
Ice cubes
45ml bourbon
15ml fresh lemon juice
15ml fresh orange juice
15ml sugar syrup
Crushed ice

Method:

STEP 1
Using a small paintbrush (or your finger), brush some honey around the rim of a lowball tumbler. Pour a layer of edible gold glitter onto a plate, turn the tumbler in your hands, sticky side down, and dip into the glitter until it sticks to the honey and coats the rim of the glass.

STEP 2
Pour the bourbon into a cocktail shaker with ice along with the lemon juice, orange juice and sugar syrup. Shake until the shaker is frosted.

STEP 3
Fill the lowball tumbler you prepared earlier with crushed ice. Strain your cocktail into your tumbler, stir to create a slurry and serve.
